Cryogenic Air Separation Units (ASU)
Their purpose is to produce oxygen, nitrogen, argon and rare gases mixtures from the ambient air by means of low-temperature rectification. For all our history me have manufactured and supplied more than 600 units of various capacity to 30 countries.
For maximum Customer’s requirements satisfaction, the enterprise manufactures air separation units as per individual projects considering particularities of the production and available infrastructure. The units are based on modern circuit designs and engineering solutions, completed with assembly sets and units made by leading domestic and foreign manufacturers, and feature a high level of automation, safety and low specific power consumption.
The company manufactures air separation units both for complex extraction of products in gaseous and liquid forms, and for production of separate gases (oxygen and nitrogen) with separation products delivery under normal and/or high pressure and with adjustable capacity.
Units of low and medium capacity are manufactured as packaged with the maximum operational compatibility. Cryogenmash provides warranty and aftersale service of the supplied ASUs, and provides spare parts for them throughout the service life.
Air low-pressure oxygen production units (0.6 MPa)
Designed for production of gaseous oxygen as main product, nitrogen and argon, as well as minor part of these products (up to 3% of the processed air volume) in liquid form or under high pressure (up to 4.0 MPa). Additionally, rare gases – krypton-xenon concentrate and neon-helium mixture – can be produced.
Two main types of units can be developed:
- АКАр Units are designed for complex air separation with oxygen capacity from 1000 up to 35000 m3/h, of 99.5-99.8% purity. Production pure nitrogen (0.0001-0,0005 О2) can be extracted in the amount of 3000 up to 115000 m3/h.Impurity argon (up to 10 ppm) production takes place directly in the unit by the method of low-temperature rectification in the columns with the structurized packing. Rate of products extraction: oxygen – 0.95-0.98, nitrogen – up to 0.77, argon – 0.75 and more. Specific power consumption as to oxygen: 0.38 – 0.45 kWt*h/m3;
- Кт (АКт) Units allow to extract low-purity gaseous oxygen (80-95%) and pure gaseous nitrogen.
Specific power consumption as to oxygen: 0.38 – 0.45 kWt*h/m3;
Internal compression oxygen units
Designed for separation products delivery under pressure directly from the unit (oxygen up to 4.0 MPa, nitrogen – up to 6.0 MPa).
Specific power consumption as to oxygen: 0.6 – 0.7 kWt*h/m3.
Air low-pressure nitrogen production units (0.6-0.9 MPa)
Used for production of pure gaseous nitrogen (0.0001-0.0005% O2) under pressure of 0.6-0.75 MPa and its delivery to consumer without interstitial compression.
The production units can produce small amounts of liquid oxygen and nitrogen, high-pressure oxygen (up to 20.0 MPa).
They are of two types:
- with single-column rectifier: for units with capacity of 500 up to 8000 m3/h.
Production nitrogen ratio: 0.4-0.42,
Specific power consumption: 0.25-0.3 kWt*h/m3;
- with double-column rectifier: for units with capacity exceeding 8000 m3/h.
Production nitrogen ratio: up to 0,6,
Specific power consumption: 0.16-0.18 kWt*h/m3.
Liquid production units of Type КжАжАрж
Designed for production of liquid oxygen, nitrogen and argon under pressure up to 0.3 MPa, with total capacity of 500 up to 6000 kg/h. Specific power consumption is 1.5 kWt*h/kg (for small units) up to 0.8 kWt*h/kg.
Liquefaction units
Designed to liquefy the excess of gaseous nitrogen and oxygen, produced at the air separation units, for the purpose of accumulation and further use in peak loads period and for selling to third-party consumers. Capacity: 1000-5000 kg/h. Specific power consumption: 0.55-0.8 kWt*h/kg.
