The groups of Ural Steel, NPO CNIITMASH, AO NIICHIMMASH and PJSC Cryogenmash were awarded a Gold Medal at the 26th International Industrial Exhibition “Metal-Expo 2020”
On 4th of December, 2020, Ural Steel (member of Metalloinvest) together with NPO CNIITMASH has developed and produced unique cryogenic rolled steel for the manufacture of equipment operated at temperatures up to -196 °C for the first time in Russia. According to its characteristics, it surpasses existing analogues of Russian and foreign manufacture.

The working meeting concerning the development of Cryogenmash (member of OMZ Group) was held on 16th of September at manufacturing site of the company, in attendance with GPB (AO) and PJSC OMZ management. New patent for PJSC "Cryogenmash" invention " The unit for He-3 extraction from commercial liquid helium by rectification"
The invention relates to the field of helium production from natural gas. The unit for He-3 extraction from commercial liquid helium includes the external helium liquefier, the rectification unit comprising the distillation column with condensers, the pipelines connecting the helium liquefier and the rectification unit, and one or more refrigerators that withdraw heat from condensers with an excessive backflow formed by adding liquid helium from the external liquefier. The invention provides for the installation and operating costs reduction, as well as for easier plant performance control.
