The first project developed by the Russian company for technical gases production at customer’s site has been put in operation The contract for delivery of air separation products for metallurgical facilities support ensures that Cryogenmash at their own cost and expense shall build the air separation plant and later operate it, supplying the required amount of technical gases (oxygen, nitrogen, argon) to cover the needs of Seversky pipe production factory (ТМК) (Polevskoi town, Sverdlovsk region) within the framework of a long-term contract.

“In spite of the fact that on-site work proved to be advanced all over the world, the project developed by JSC"Cryogenmash” is the first example in Russia where the Russian company independently invests money in construction of air separation products facility. It is an extremely difficult project from the point of view of technology, engineering and investment, and I am glad that we managed to implement it at a high level” – said Alexei Rubtsov, the Chief Executive Officer of JSC "Cryogenmash”. The volume of JSC “Cryogenmash” investments in development of air separation shop has made about 24 million euro. JSC “Cryogenmash” fulfilled all works on development of a modern air separation facilities, starting from preparation of the Technical & Commercial Proposal and design works up to and including civil works, the equipment fabrication, mounting and putting into operation. Up-to-date large-scale air separation plant КдАдАр-9/3 produces 9000 Nm3/hr of gaseous oxygen, 3300 Nm3/hr of gaseous nitrogen and 500 kg of liquid argon. ОКА-3000 plant ensures production of 2000 kg/hr of liquid oxygen and 1200 kg/hr of liquid nitrogen.

“The air separation shop built by Cryogenmash in Polevskoi, can cover current and potential demand of Seversky pipe production factory as to technical gases. The air separation plant capacity allows to produce additional amount of oxygen, nitrogen and argon to be sold to the Ural region industrial consumers” – is sure Vadim Mikhalkevich, the Sales Manager, Technical & Medical Gases, JSC "Cryogenmash”. Presently, JSC "Cryogenmash” is implementing another 3 similar projects at different stages of readiness, namely for Pervouralsk Novotrubny Factory (group CHTPZ), Zlatoustovsky Steel Works (“ESTAR” companies group) and the Taganrog Metal Works (ТМК).
